For this months reading project I did a cereal box about a book called Mandy. I really enjoyed this book! For the cereal box you have to put characters, the setting, summary, and how you rated the book. I thought this project was pretty easy! I also did well! One thing I didn't do well was including time and condition in the setting. Overall I really enjoyed doing this monthly reading project!

For my second reading project I read the book Bridge To Terabithia. I did a mobile project. My six things that were hanging were a picture of a pug, a picture of a mailbox, a etching of a leaf, a paintbrush, a friendship bracelet, and a crown. I think ot looked really cool! Again we gave compliments and delta's to everybody in the class. Everbody elses projects were really good too! I really liked my project and book!

For my reading project I read the book A Wrinkle In Time. It was really good! It was about three kids and they are trying to find two of the kids father. For this project I made a game board. I think this book was really good for a game board. I got a good grade! Next time I would like to work on my setting some more so I could 100% on every part. I really liked this reading project.

I have really enjoyed fifth grade so far! One subject I really like is reading. In reading we just finished the book Hatchet. It was about a boy who survives in the Canadian woods. We are going to watch the movie soon! In math we are learning about volume. It's kind of confusing! My teacher is Ms. Beck, she is really nice. In art we just finished drawing really cool trees with a background with lots of value. For writing we are writing our own stories. I just finished writing my Rising Action. My story is about three girls who love to go to the zoo and animals are disappearing. I have really enjoyed fifth grade so far!
